In response to the ongoing violent cult clashes and security disturbances in Owo, which have tragically resulted in the loss of lives, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has imposed a dawn-to-dusk curfew in the town until further notice.
All residents are mandated to stay indoors during the curfew hours. Exemptions will be granted only to essential services, including hospitals, emergency services, and law enforcement agencies.
The Governor’s Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, stated that security agencies in the State have been directed to rigorously enforce the curfew, safeguard lives and properties, apprehend the perpetrators of the violence, and restore peace to the community.
