The Ogun State Police Command has declared Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as “Portable,” wanted for leading a violent attack on government officials carrying out their lawful duties.
The incident occurred on February 5, 2025, at around 10:00 AM when officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Ota Zonal Office—namely:
1. TPL Onabanjo Abidemi
2. TPL Raymond Lateef
3. TPL Ridwan Oyero Akinlesi
—were conducting an enforcement exercise at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. During their inspection, they encountered Portable’s father at Odogwu Bar and requested the approved building plan for the property. The father informed them that his son was unavailable.
Shortly after, Portable allegedly arrived with a firearm and led a group of nine thugs in a violent attack on the unarmed officials. The enforcement officers sustained various injuries but managed to escape and report the incident to the Ota Area Command, which escalated the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
Nine of Portable’s accomplices have been arrested, but the singer fled the scene and has since gone into hiding. Repeated invitations to appear at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, have been ignored without any response or legal representation.
Due to his continued evasion, the Ogun State Police Command has secured a valid court order declaring him wanted. The public is urged to provide any information that could lead to his arrest. Anyone found harboring or aiding the suspect will face legal consequences.
