Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved key appointments to strengthen his administration, including the appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The announcement came shortly after Governor Aiyedatiwa resumed work in his office, just minutes after being sworn in as the 7th democratically elected Governor of Ondo State on Monday.
Dr. Fasoranti, a native of Akure South Local Government Area, previously served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board before his new appointment.
In addition, Governor Aiyedatiwa has reappointed Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, and Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance.
Furthermore, the Governor has reappointed the following individuals as Special Advisers:
Engr. Johnson Alabi – Special Adviser on Power
Dr. Seun Osamaye – Special Adviser on Women Affairs
Comrade Bola Taiwo – Special Adviser on Union Matters & Special Duties
Prof. Simidele Odimayo – Special Adviser on Health
Engr. Abiola Olawoye, who previously served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been elevated to the position of Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing.
All appointments take immediate effect.
Governor Aiyedatiwa charged the new appointees to hit the ground running and deliver effective and efficient services to the people of Ondo State.
