OLOBA OF USO CONGRATULATES OLOWO ON APPOINTMENT AS ONDO STATE COUNCIL OF OBAS CHAIRMAN
The Oloba of Uso, Oba Engr. Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade Ph.D (Olanipekun III), has congratulated the Olowo of Owo, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye II, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
In a message issued on behalf of the Oloba-in-Council and the Uso Advisory Council, Oba Oyinbade described Oba Ogunoye’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his wisdom, leadership, and commitment to the development of traditional institutions in the state.
He noted that the Olowo has played a significant role in fostering peace, unity, and progress in Owo Local Government and beyond, making him a fitting choice to lead the council of traditional rulers in Ondo State.
“As you take on this new responsibility, I pray that the Almighty grants you divine wisdom, strength, and good health to steer the affairs of the Council with equity, fairness, and dedication,” the Oloba stated.
He expressed confidence that Oba Ogunoye’s tenure would strengthen the traditional institution and promote further collaboration among monarchs for the overall development of the state.
The appointment of the Olowo of Owo comes at a crucial time, as traditional rulers continue to play a vital role in maintaining peace, cultural heritage, and grassroots governance across the state.
