The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has inaugurated a seven-member planning committee to coordinate the 2025 edition of its annual Media/Press Week.
The committee, chaired by Banjo Egunjobi with Jacob Akintunde as secretary, will oversee activities slated for December 14–21, 2025. Other members include Adedotun Ajayi, Olufisoye Adenitan, Kunle Ajibogun, and Omoriola Hungbeji, while the State Secretary of the Union will serve as the representative of the State Executive.
At the inauguration held on Tuesday at the NUJ Press Centre, Akure, the State Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite, charged the committee to deliver a robust and impactful press week. He also called on members of the Union to rally support for the planning team.
Responding on behalf of the committee, Egunjobi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and assured members of the Union that the 2025 Press Week would be memorable and well-organized.
The NUJ annual celebration will feature events that highlight media excellence, promote press freedom, and foster unity among journalists in Ondo State.
