The Digital Media Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has extended warm congratulations to its Patron and Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Ebenezer Adeniyan, following the Supreme Court verdict that affirmed the election of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
In a statement personally signed by its Chairman, Omoba Adesoye Ajayi, the Chapel described the judgment as a historic seal on the people’s mandate, which was freely given to the Governor during the last election.
The statement noted that the verdict brings closure to prolonged legal battles and clears the path for Governor Aiyedatiwa to fully concentrate on governance and the development of the Sunshine State.
The Chapel praised Mr. Adeniyan for his professional commitment and resilience in managing the Governor’s image and communication strategies throughout the legal process, from the tribunal to the Court of Appeal, and ultimately at the apex court.
“As our Patron, we are proud of your exemplary leadership and steadfast support for the advancement of digital media practice in Ondo State. Your work underscores the critical role of strategic communication in democracy and governance,” the statement read.
The Chapel assured the CPS of its continuous solidarity and partnership as he advances the Governor’s vision, while praying for more wisdom, strength, and greater accomplishments in his service to the state and Nigeria.
