The Diocese of Owo (Anglican Communion) has felicitated its Bishop, The Rt. Rev’d Dr. Ayodeji Fagbemi (PhD), on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a remarkable servant of God and an exemplary spiritual leader.
In a statement signed on behalf of the Diocese, the Public Relations Officer, Basorun Banjo Abitogun, said the entire clergy and laity of the Diocese are grateful to God for blessing them with a Bishop whose life reflects humility, service, and commitment to the gospel.
Abitogun noted that under Bishop Fagbemi’s episcopal leadership, the Diocese has witnessed tremendous growth in faith, renewed commitment to mission, and unity among members. He added that the Bishop’s dedication to sound teaching, discipleship, and the advancement of God’s kingdom has continued to inspire the church and the larger society.
“As you add another year, it is our prayer that the Lord will continue to bless you with good health, divine strength, and fresh anointing. May He enlarge your coast, fulfill His promises in your life, and grant you many more fruitful years in His vineyard,” the message read in part.
The Diocese, through its spokesperson, prayed that the grace and peace of Christ would abide with the Bishop always, while wishing him a joyous and fulfilling new year of life.
