The Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu, FCIPA, has congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 65th Independence Anniversary, urging citizens to embrace unity, diligence, and patriotism in the collective task of nation building.
In a statement to mark the historic milestone, Akinlosotu noted that Nigeria’s 65 years of existence as a sovereign nation is a testimony to the resilience and sacrifices of the founding fathers as well as the determination of the people to forge a nation of peace, unity, and progress.
While describing the anniversary as a moment for sober reflection and renewed patriotism, the Commissioner commended the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, whose Renewed Hope Agenda, he said, is laying a strong foundation for economic transformation, national integration, and a brighter future for Nigerians.
He also applauded the pragmatic leadership style of the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, stressing that his people-centered governance and development-driven initiatives have continued to reposition the Sunshine State as a beacon of growth and stability within the Nigerian federation.
“As we celebrate this 65th Independence Anniversary, we must rededicate ourselves to the ideals of nationhood. Together, we can actualize the Nigeria of our dreams,” Akinlosotu stated.
